Built young in Los Angeles. The label began as a private exercise in taste — what to keep, what to leave out — and became a way of making clothes.

Much of that taste is inherited. The founder’s grandfather is the longest shadow here: the cars he kept, the way he dressed, the photographs left behind. His brother is the other half of it — a shared eye for clothing, cars, and design, and the confidence to keep going.

A. Calda works from those references — objects, garments, and images passed between generations — and translates them into something contemporary. Restrained proportions, considered materials, no noise.
